Investment firm located in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking to hire a Part-Time Temp Event/Cvent Specialist to support the events team. This position will start August 2025. Position is fully remote. Temp duration approximately 6 months. 15-20 hours per week, but some weeks might require more hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of corporate, internal and client-facing events using Cvent software
- Specific support with Cvent App, appointments module and travel widget
- Create, manage, and update event registration websites and invitations in Cvent
- Maintain accurate event data, including attendee lists, preferences, and special requests
- Monitor registration metrics and provide timely reporting and insights to the events team
- Support event communications, including email campaigns and reminders through Cvent tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Cvent functionalities during event lifecycle
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of hands on Cvent experience (required)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
Pay
- $34-40/hour
