Our client, a nonprofit in Washington, DC, is urgently seeking a temporary Associate, Board Services to support their team! This role is a 6-month temporary assignment with a strong possibility of extension for another 6 months. If you are highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to support mission-driven board operations, apply now!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for board meetings and trips.

  • Manage scheduling, calendars, and meeting coordination across multiple time zones.

  • Prepare meeting materials, including slide decks, agendas, and research briefings.

  • Assist with event planning and heavy logistics for retreats and international trips.

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth execution of board activities.

  • Complete additional administrative tasks and special projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.

  • 2+ years of solid professional administrative and/or board support experience.

  • Strong technical skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheets, and Teams.

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and time management.

  • Strong communication skills and professional maturity with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Position Information:

  • Compensation: $27-$30/hr while temporary, DOE

  • Schedule: Hybrid; on-site Tuesdays and Wednesdays now, increasing to 3 days/week (Tues-Thurs) starting January 2026.

  • Location: Washington, DC (Metro Center accessible).
