Our client, in the real estate industry, is seeking an HR Business Partner to join their team based out of Columbia, MD!

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with managers and leadership to understand internal activities and provide strategic recommendations for current or upcoming needs.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement policies and procedures.
  • Support the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and working closely with hiring managers.
  • Assist with offer letters and employee onboarding and/or offboarding.
  • Handle employee relations tasks including investigations, performance plans, and terminations.
  • Serve as a subject-matter-expert to managers on compensation guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience required, with a minimum of 2+ as an HRBP.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to travel to Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland to visit other offices as needed, approximately 20% for office/employee matters, interviews, team building events.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting strategic recommendations to managers/leadership.

About the Role:

  • Salary range of $85K-$100K (DOE) with an annual bonus structure.

  • On-site 5x/week at the Columbia, MD office with travel required to other DMV offices as needed (free parking available)!
