We are seeking dependable Mailroom Support Staff to assist with a temporary high-volume project at a large university in Boston, MA. This onsite role pays $18/hour and runs for 6-8 weeks starting September 6, with weekend hours of Saturdays 9:00 AM-5:30 PM and Sundays 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. The position involves hands-on work moving and organizing packages to ensure timely distribution across campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport packages and mail from the receiving area to mail centers and holding containers
- Safely lift, carry, and move boxes up to 25 lbs repeatedly
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow instructions, safety protocols, and meet deadlines
- Work quickly and efficiently while standing for extended periods
Candidate Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move packages throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Willingness to commit to the full duration of the assignment
- Previous mailroom, warehouse, or physical labor experience a plus, but not required
