Our client, a Cambridge-based educational institution, is seeking a temporary Event Assistant to support its team for a 3-4 month assignment, with the possibility of extension. This onsite role runs Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM-4:30 PM, and pays $21.50/hour. The position focuses on event coordination and administrative support in a fast-paced academic environment. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide event support and assist with coordination of programs and activities
- Handle daily office operations and administrative tasks
- Manage scheduling, communications, and logistics for events
- Collaborate with staff and faculty to ensure smooth execution of initiatives
Candidate Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of event support, coordination, or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
