Our client is seeking a Development Assistant to support administrative functions in a busy, mission-driven development office. This is an onsite role located in Dorchester with standard hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Pay is $22/hr. Free onsite parking is available. Start is ASAP, and initial duration is 6+ months with the potential to convert to permanent.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage donor data entry, gift processing, and acknowledgements.
* Support donor engagement, events, and volunteer initiatives.
* Oversee in-kind donations and assist with fundraising logistics.
* Provide general administrative support to the Development team.
Candidate Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* 1-2 years in development, fundraising, or nonprofit administration preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
* Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility to adjust schedule during peak event periods.
