We are seeking a Medical Collections Representative for a well-established specialty healthcare company located in Lexington, MA. This is a 100% in-office, temporary opportunity paying $24/hour flexible weekday hours between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The role is critical in managing patient accounts, resolving insurance claims, and ensuring compliance with healthcare billing regulations. Free onsite parking is available, or employees may take a convenient shuttle from Alewife Station for a small fee.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve outstanding patient accounts and insurance claims.
• Ensure timely, accurate billing and compliance with payer requirements.
• Follow up on claim remittance advice, denials, and correspondence to expedite payments.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and administrative teams to resolve reimbursement issues.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and safeguard patient information.
• Meet daily and monthly productivity and closing goals.

Candidate Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in home infusion billing/collections preferred.
• Strong knowledge of insurance terms, HCPC/CPT codes, and medical billing practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
