Our client, an aerospace corporation, is seeking a temporary to permanent Procurement/Buyer.
Responsibilities:
- Procure an array of materials across various programs.
- Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Develop RFPs and SOWs.
- Lead supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs.
- Identify improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.
- Support supply chain management within your specific team through related responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of buyer experience and 7+ years of supply chain management experience.
- A bachelor's degree in business or supply chain is required.
- Proven experience in the development of RFPs and SOWs is required.
- Knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements and compliance procedures is required.
- Excellent oral/written communication and organizational skills.
Position Information:
- Pays $28-$33/hr, while temporary.
- Converts to a salary of up to $75k, if permanent.
- 100% Remote
- Hours are 9am-5pm.
