Our client, a government institution, is seeking a temporary to permanent Federal Proposal Writer for their office in Fairfax, VA!
Responsibilities:
* Prepare proposals, analyze RFPs/RFQs, develop proposal components, and revise content for clarity and accuracy.
* Manage proposal timeline, track development activities, lead kickoff meetings, and ensure all deadlines are met.
* Proofread proposals to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with government requirements
* Maintain reusable proposal content and report on lessons learned to improve future proposals.
* Additional responsibilities and tasks as required.
Qualifications:
* 3+ years of federal government proposal writing and development experience are required.
* A bachelor's degree is required for this position.
* Proficiencies in MS Suite, Visible Thread, or similar, and graphic design software are required.
* Experience with government contract policies and re4gualtions is required.
* Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills required.
Position Information:
* $30/hr-$34/hr, depending on experience.
* Temporary to permanent position.
* If converted to permanent, $70k.
* Hours are 8:00am-5:00pm
* 100% on site in Fairfax, VA.
