Our client, a commercial real estate firm in Chicago is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to oversee a commercial property. This role is a Contract-To-Hire role where you'll drive operations, financial performance, and tenant satisfaction while working closely with senior leadership.
What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day operations and ensure exceptional tenant service
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and vendor contracts
- Oversee rent collection, lease compliance, and tenant requests
- Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and capital improvements
- Partner with leadership on strategies to improve efficiency and control costs
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of commercial property management experience required
- Strong financial and budgeting skills preferred
- Proficiency with Yardi or similar software
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
