Our client, a nonprofit located in Boston, is seeking a Development Operations Assistant to join their team through January. This onsite role has hours from 9AM-5:30PM and is compensating $25 an hour. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process, mail, and file donor acknowledgment letters and gift documentation
- Prepare tribute gift notifications and ensure timely delivery
- Support donation processing, including credit card and check entries
- Update donor records in Raiser's Edge NXT and Luminate Online
- Assist with packaging and mailing holiday cards and donor thank-you materials
- Perform additional administrative and development support tasks as assigned
Candidate Qualifications:
- Fundraising operations or nonprofit experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Raiser's Edge/NXT and Luminate Online experience a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and the organization's social justice mission
