A mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a Contract & Vendor Management Specialist for a 6-month contract opportunity. This full-time position offers $35 per hour and standard business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The company is focused on improving access and equity in healthcare through research, advocacy, innovation, and community initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and manage contracts, amendments, and related documentation across departments.
- Coordinate approvals, track implementation, and maintain accurate vendor management records.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency in contracting and vendor processes.
- Perform quality checks, ensure compliance with approval workflows, and manage vendor folders and databases.
- Provide regular updates to management and assist with special projects as needed.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in contracting or vendor management.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Smartsheet; experience with Bill.com preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Paralegal or legal department experience a plus.
