Our client, a leading investment management firm, is seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to support two Research Coordinators. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. This role will involve extensive travel coordination and heavy expense management. Hours are 8:00/8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, with a 7:00 a.m. start on Mondays (transportation will be provided). This position is fully on site in the firm's Manhattan office, five days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and organizational support to the Research Coordinators and broader team.
- Arrange complex domestic and international travel, including itineraries, accommodations, and related logistics.
- Manage expense reporting, compliance tracking, and other administrative duties as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2-3+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant supporting multiple team members
- Must come from a financial services environment
- Strong work ethic, maturity, and professionalism with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with excellent follow-through
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining discretion and confidentiality
