A leading global investment firm is seeking a Business Data Analyst to join their team on a 6-month hybrid assignment based in Boston, MA. This role offers a hybrid schedule (2-3 days/week onsite), standard business hours (9 AM – 5 PM), and a pay of $45 per hour. The firm is an established, independent financial organization specializing in private market investments, with a strong global presence and decades of industry experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Develop and implement data models, reports, and visualizations to support business objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to document data processes and ensure data integrity.
- Translate analytical findings into actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Design and maintain automated reporting systems and dashboards.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Business).
- 2-5 years of experience as a data or business analyst, preferably within financial services.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, data accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
