Our client, a mission-focused association, is seeking a temporary Policy Coordinator to support their dynamic Policy & Advocacy team in their busy Washington, DC office starting ASAP!
Responsibilities:
- Identify relevant bills, hearings, and research to then assess and summarize them.
- Schedule, attend, and follow-up with pertinent meetings.
- Meet with members, support communications, and educate stakeholders on policy issues.
- Provide comprehensive support to the team.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of policy experience in a client-facing role are required.
- Prior Hill experience is highly desired!
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be proactive with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation/Benefits:
- $25/hr-$28/hr, depending on experience.
- Starting ASAP and lasting through February.
- There is a potential for this position to extend or become permanent!
- Hours are 8am-5pm.
- Hybrid with 3 days/week onsite.
- Metro accessible office in Washington, DC.
