Our client, a leading company in the Pet Food Industry in Burlington MA, is seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Front Desk Receptionist to provide full-time support in their office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, managing administrative tasks, and supporting a busy, pet-friendly office environment. This onsite, full time, role is expected to run through March and is compensating $24-$25/hour. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls, take detailed messages, and communicate effectively with staff, customers, and vendors
- Receive visitors and serve as a welcoming ambassador (offer refreshments, assist with coats, etc.)
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including FedEx and UPS
- Assist with scheduling conference rooms and coordinating interviews with the HR team
- Maintain kitchen supplies and cleanliness (refill coffee station, run dishwasher, wipe down appliances, etc.)
- Support set-up and break-down for office events
- Handle ad hoc administrative projects and tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, approachable demeanor
- Previous front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office Suite, and calendar management
- Comfortable working in an office where employees occasionally bring pets
