Our client is seeking part-time Study Moderators to support an on-site research project involving a wearable technology prototype. This temporary role runs from December through March and requires 4-8 hours per week (occasionally up to 12). Work is conducted on location in Cambridge, MA, assisting participants with device setup, guiding them through simple tasks, and helping ensure smooth data collection. Pay is $22.50/hr, and scheduling may be confirmed 1-2 days in advance.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in participants; obtain basic consent

• Assist participants with fitting and adjusting a wearable prototype

• Run simple test tasks and guide participants through computer-based activities

• Log session details and provide light troubleshooting (no advanced technical skills required)

• Maintain a professional, supportive environment during study sessions

Qualifications

• Comfortable with technology and learning new devices

• Previous research or data collection experience a plus

• Strong customer-service skills (retail, hospitality, participant-facing roles)

• Reliable, organized, and able to follow study protocols

• Able to work onsite in Cambridge for varying weekly hours
