This part-time Study Moderator role offers $22.50/hr, 4-12 hours per week, and is fully onsite in Cambridge at an innovative tech organization specializing in cutting-edge wearable AI. This company develops advanced, non-invasive technology that enables silent communication between users and computers, and is seeking temporary support for research study sessions running from December through March. The position is ideal for someone tech-savvy, comfortable working with participants, and interested in supporting hands-on research activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet study participants, check them in, and obtain basic consent.
- Assist participants with wearing and adjusting the prototype device.
- Guide participants through simple computer-based tasks and log completion.
- Support light troubleshooting and ensure smooth study session flow.
- Help run study dry-runs and prep technology as needed.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Comfortable with technology; ability to learn devices quickly.
- Previous experience with research studies is a plus.
- Strong customer service or participant-facing experience (retail/hospitality welcome).
- Reliable, professional, and able to work variable weekly hours.
