Our client, a preparatory school in the Upper West Side of Manhattan is looking to hire a Temp Receptionist. The position will train Friday, 11/21. Coverage Monday, 11/24 and Tuesday, 11/25, 7am-4pm. Ideal candidate will have availability for future coverages.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with reception duties - greet, welcome, and direct all visitors including parents, students and staff (maintain system for guest check-ins)
- Field all phone calls to the school
- Processes incoming mail, packages, and deliveries
- Builds a positive, safe, and orderly environment by following procedures
- Provides oversight for presentation of other shared spaces throughout the school
Qualifications:
- BA preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Desire to be around children and ability to interact appropriately with people of all ages and development levels
- Collaborative spirit, proactive, follow through and committee to learning new things
Compensation:
- $25/hour
