This commercial real estate company in downtown Boston is seeking an experienced Property Manager for a full-time, 100% onsite temporary role. The position runs 8:30-5:30 (flexible to 8-5 or 9-6) and pays $38-$42/hr depending on experience. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with property management policies, procedures, codes, and regulations
- Providing leadership to onsite staff, including hiring and performance management
- Performing and overseeing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual property inspections
- Developing operating and capital budgets and overseeing CAM reconciliations
- Bidding, negotiating, and managing vendor contracts
- Abstracting property leases in administration systems
- Coordinating construction work on behalf of tenants or owners
- Leading communication with contractors, vendors, architects, consultants, and authorities
- Managing contract documents, budgets, project milestones, and cash flow
- Attending and leading project and management meetings
- Supporting leasing teams and maintaining strong tenant and client relationships
Candidate qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of commercial property management experience (must have run a building)
- BS/BA degree preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to commit to an onsite, Monday-Friday schedule
