Our client, a leading organization in the publishing industry, is seeking a Press Sales Coordinator for a 6-month maternity leave assignment. This role is based in Brighton, MA and offers $24/hr, 9am-5pm hours, and a provided PC laptop. The company is a respected, mission-driven institution known for producing world-class management education content. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bulk book order shipments from invoicing through delivery
- Coordinate foreign rights contracts, royalties, and invoicing
- Report Amazon preorder numbers to authors
- Support retail sales operations and occasional book mailings
- Update promotional information in the Edelweiss retailer database
- Communicate with clients and authors regarding invoices, payments, and order status
Candidate Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of administrative or sales support experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Bonus: project management experience
