Our client, a nonprofit sports organization is seeking a Temporary Athlete Services Data Associate to support a major athletic event. This is a part-time (12-16 hours/week), hybrid role with onsite work in Boston, MA, with the option to work from a Hopkinton office once trained. The assignment runs January through June and paying $25/hour.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage race registrations, verification, entry fee processing, and data accuracy within Salesforce
  • Support bib and timing tag programs, athlete communications, and multiple registration initiatives
  • Maintain qualifying race results databases and upload weekly results files
  • Create data exports for vendors and support internal reporting needs
  • Assist with non-marathon event registration tracking
  • Collaborate with athlete services and Salesforce teams to ensure data integrity
  • Support leadership with timelines, workflows, and documentation
  • Perform additional administrative and data-related duties as assigned

Candidate Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in database management or CRM platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex datasets
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); Salesforce experience strongly preferred
  • Willingness to complete Salesforce training
  • Experience in event operations, running industry, or credit card processing is a plus
