Our client, a life sciences services company, is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to provide administrative and operational support to engineers and scientists on-site in the Seaport. This is a full-time, onsite role, 35-40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 8:00/8:30 AM-5:00 PM) with pay of $30-$35/hour for an initial 3-month assignment, with potential for extension or permanent placement. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage database and inventory of lab and medical equipment, including maintenance scheduling and tracking shipments.
  • Coordinate with scientists, engineers, vendors, and internal staff regarding equipment servicing and support.
  • Schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities; maintain records and documentation in proprietary CMMS systems.
  • Generate reports, KPIs, and equipment performance summaries.
  • Assist with contract negotiations and vendor service oversight.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies while supporting lab operations.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to manage complex data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, navigate lab environments, and perform repetitive physical tasks as needed.
  • Must pass criminal and drug background checks; immunizations required.
