A prestigious, nationally recognized law firm in Chicago is seeking a polished and highly organized Executive Assistant to provide true 1 to 1 support to a senior executive within the organization. This is an exceptional opportunity for a career Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility role and has a proven background supporting C‑suite or senior leadership.

Who You Are

  • A polished, professional Executive Assistant with at least three years of recent 1 to 1 EA support to a senior leader. For this opening, it is a requirement that this was at your most recent role.
  • Exceptionally detail‑oriented with outstanding communication, proofreading, and organizational skills
  • Able to navigate competing priorities, manage multiple deadlines, and make sound independent decisions
  • Confident interacting with high‑level internal and external stakeholders
  • A proactive problem‑solver who anticipates needs before they arise
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and judgment
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is a plus

What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive 1 to 1 administrative support to a high‑level executive, including complex scheduling, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and day‑to‑day prioritization
  • Serve as the executive's primary point of contact, professionally managing communications with senior leaders, external stakeholders, and high‑profile visitors
  • Prepare, edit, and format correspondence, presentations, reports, and meeting materials
  • Coordinate and support meetings, videoconferences and department events, ensuring all logistics, materials, and technology needs are executed flawlessly
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems, departmental documents, and confidential materials
  • Assist with special projects, departmental initiatives, event support, and the ongoing management of calendars, org charts, and shared resources
  • Process invoices and expense reports accurately and efficiently
  • Provide additional administrative support to other leaders as needed and act as a trusted resource to the broader department
