Our client, a leading non-profit, FDA-licensed biologics manufacturer in Massachusetts is seeking a Document Control Specialist for a 6-12 month temporary assignment. This onsite role in Mattapan, MA, offers $23/hour and standard 9-5 hours. The organization focuses on vaccine and biologic product development, production, and distribution nationwide.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain site training program, ensuring assignments, completion, and documentation are current.
- Generate and distribute training compliance/status reports to site leadership.
- Issue, track, and reconcile controlled logbooks and forms for operational compliance.
- Perform records archiving, file clean-up, and high-volume document production.
- Support electronic document management system (EDMS) operations, including document issuance and change workflows.
- Assist with operational reporting by providing documentation status and training metrics.
- Support review and routing of completed records to Quality for archiving.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher with minimum 2 years in document control, records management, or regulated/quality-compliance environment.
- Working knowledge of document control principles, version control, record retention, and traceability.
- Experience with electronic document management systems (MasterControl preferred) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred: experience with controlled logbooks, EDMS reporting, archiving, and inspection readiness.
