Our client is seeking an experienced senior editor of proposals to join its editorial team on a temporary contract. This is an opportunity to support a wide range of proposals and client-facing deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Edit and review proposals and client deliverables, including research study reports, manuals, web content, and internal and external communications.
Ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy across documents while adhering to established editorial standards.
Apply and maintain style consistency using APA, Chicago, GPO, and other required style guides.
Edit a broad range of materials such as reports, manuals, presentations, and proposal content.
Collaborate with internal teams to meet tight deadlines and evolving project needs.
Remain open to learning new subject matter, tools, and editorial processes as projects evolve.
Qualifications:
7+ years of professional editing experience are required.
Demonstrated experience editing a wide range of documents, including proposals, reports, manuals, and presentations.
Strong command of multiple editorial styles, including APA, Chicago, and GPO.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
Experience using Monday.com and Box (cloud-based storage) is a major plus.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Position Information:
$38/hr-$42/hr, depending on experience.
At least a 9 month contract.
