This long-term temporary Building Coordinator role supports a mission-driven, community-focused organization by ensuring its facilities are safe, functional, and prepared for daily operations and events. The position is onsite in Wayland, MA, offers 8-12 hours per week, and pays $23/hour, with an ASAP start. This role reports to senior leadership and works closely with staff, vendors, and onsite tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine building walkthroughs and inspections
- Identify, document, and report maintenance or safety issues
- Coordinate and host vendors, contractors, and inspectors
- Support communication and facilities needs for onsite tenants
- Assist with room setup, events, and minor repairs
Candidate Qualifications
- Prior experience in facilities, maintenance, or building operations preferred
- Comfortable working with vendors, contractors, and light physical tasks
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Trustworthy and professional in a community-facing environment
