Our client, a higher education institution, is seeking dependable Mailroom Support Associates for a short-term, 100% onsite assignment in Boston. This is a physically active, operations-focused role supporting a high-volume mailroom environment. The position starts immediately, runs 6-8 weeks with possible extension, pays $18/hour, and is scheduled Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM. Job Responsibilities
- Move incoming mail and packages from the receiving area to designated mail centers and holding containers
- Lift, carry, and transport boxes weighing up to 25 lbs throughout the shift
- Remain on feet for the majority of the day while working efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow instructions, safety guidelines, and daily priorities to meet deadlines
Candidate Qualifications
- Ability to perform repeated lifting and physical work throughout the day
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and work ethic
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to commit to the full assignment duration
