Executive Assistant (Temporary)
This is a short-term (1-2 month) Executive Assistant opportunity supporting the CFO and COO at a publicly traded technology and engineering company focused on precision components for healthcare and advanced manufacturing. The role is onsite in the Boston, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM, and pays $45/hour. This position plays a visible role in supporting senior leadership while also helping manage day-to-day office operations in a newly established Boston office.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to the CFO and COO, serving as a trusted partner
- Manage complex calendars, prioritize meetings, and coordinate with other executive assistants
- Arrange and manage domestic and international travel, including last-minute changes
- Prepare and submit expense reports in a timely manner
- Support office operations, including supplies, facilities, vendors, and IT coordination
- Act as point of contact for office visitors and incoming calls
- Assist with planning company events, team meetings, and executive off-sites
- Draft communications, maintain distribution lists, and provide general office support as needed
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years supporting C-level executives, ideally in finance or corporate environments
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and executive-level operations
- Proven experience with calendar management, travel coordination, and event planning
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); financial systems experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
