Our client, a well-established Boston-based real estate investment and operating firm, is seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to provide front-office and administrative support during a short-term coverage period. This is a 100% in-office role based in Downtown Boston (near multiple MBTA lines), running for several weeks with the potential to convert to a permanent position for a standout performer.
This is a great opportunity for a polished, reliable administrative professional who enjoys being the first point of contact in a fast-paced, professional office and can step in quickly to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact by answering phones, greeting visitors, and directing inquiries with professionalism
* Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
* Track and order office and kitchen supplies and help maintain a clean, well-organized office environment
* Support internal teams with administrative requests, reports, and document preparation
* Assist with internal and external communications including emails, memos, and presentations
* Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and occasional company gatherings
* Provide general administrative support to senior leadership and office staff as needed
* Assist with special projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned
Candidate Qualifications
* At least 1 year of experience in an administrative, office support, or receptionist role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail
* Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a busy office environment
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar tools
* Reliable, professional, and able to work on-site Monday through Friday
