Our client is seeking an experienced Investment Assistant to provide high-level administrative and operational support to a team of investment professionals. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, process-driven environment. The hours are 8:00am to 5:30pm (with some flexibility required), and the role is onsite 4 days a week in Manhattan, with Fridays remote.
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex calendars and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Serve as a gatekeeper for investment professionals and handle confidential correspondence
- Organize and schedule domestic and international travel arrangements; prepare detailed itineraries
- Prepare expense reports and ensure compliance with pre-approval policies
- Assist with research projects, including extracting brokerage reports and assembling research packets
- Provide backup coverage for other Investment Assistants and support ad hoc projects
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-10+ years of experience as an Executive or Investment Assistant in hedge funds, banking, or financial services
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional demeanor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality
