Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Pricing Coordinator to support their logistics pricing operations. This role is responsible for managing rate requests, preparing competitive quotes, maintaining pricing data, and collaborating with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate and profitable pricing decisions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment and brings experience in transportation, freight, supply chain, or related industries.

Responsibilities:

 Prepare accurate LTL, FTL, intermodal, ocean, and/or air freight quotes based on customer requests

 Analyze carrier rate sheets, tariffs, contracts, and market data to determine pricing

 Support sales and account managers by generating timely, competitive customer quotes

 Maintain and update pricing databases, rate tables, and internal pricing tools

 Validate accuracy of rates and ensure consistency across TMS and internal systems

 Monitor profitability, margins, and quoting trends; identify gaps or risks

 Prepare reporting on quote activity, win/loss outcomes, and pricing effectiveness

 Collaborate with sales, operations, carrier relations, and accounting to align pricing

 Communicate with carriers to obtain spot rates or negotiate competitive pricing

 Assist with RFPs, bids, and large customer proposals

 Respond promptly to internal and external pricing inquiries

 Provide routing options, transit times, and service recommendations as needed

 Manage multiple pricing requests under tight deadlines

 Use Excel, TMS systems, and rate management software to support pricing workflows

 Ensure compliance with customer requirements, contract terms, and service expectations

 Maintain high attention to detail when reviewing and entering data

 Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and timely responses

 Apply analytical skills to solve pricing issues or interpret rate structures

 Work effectively in a fast‑paced logistics environment

 Preferred experience: LTL tariffs, FTL rate structures, 3PL or brokerage operations, RFP support, DAT/Truckstop familiarity

Qualifications:

 1+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, supply chain, or pricing/analytical roles.

 Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.

 Proficiency with Excel, rate management tools, and transportation management systems (TMS).

 Strong communication and organizational skills.

 Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
