Our client, a global footwear company located in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking a Temporary Shipping Support Assistant to join one of its portfolio brand teams. This is a newly created role to support an upcoming office move and provide ongoing operational support to the team. The expected commitment is a minimum of four weeks, with the potential to extend or convert to a permanent role if there is a mutual fit.

This position is 5 days per week on-site (9:00am-5:00pm), with flexibility before or after hours as needed to support deliveries. Pay rate is $24-27/hour DOE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the office move and assist with setting up and maintaining the new workspace
• Learn and navigate the new building, including freight elevators and delivery procedures
• Manage high-volume inbound and outbound shipping of footwear samples
• Receive, organize, track, and prepare shoe samples for internal teams, celebrities, and influencers
• Coordinate closely with facilities, couriers, and internal stakeholders
• Maintain an organized, detail-oriented sample storage and shipping process
• Provide general operational and ad hoc support to the broader team as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• Prior experience in shipping, logistics, facilities, or office operations strongly preferred
• Comfortable lifting and moving boxes up to 50 lbs
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Calm, flexible, and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Willingness to "do a little of everything" and learn alongside the team
• Careful and respectful handling of high-value product
