Our client, located in Washington, DC, is seeking a temporary-to-hire Government Affairs and Policy Associate to support their team!
The Job:
- Research legislative, policy, and industry issues; assist in the development/implementation of policy strategies/priorities.
- Draft policy materials (e.g., white papers, one-pagers, letters to the Hill, legislative summaries/analyses, etc.).
- Write internal reports on the impact of legislation/regulations.
- Coordinate with the Government Relations division to flag/track legislation.
- Complete additional tasks and provide support as required.
About You:
- 2+ years of professional work experience.
- Experience with the energy sector is highly desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
About the Position:
- $25/hr-$30/hr, while temporary, DOE.
- Converts to a salary of $60k-$70k, DOE.
- 100% on-site at the Washington, DC location.
- Metro accessible.
