Nonprofit focusing on education located in Downtown, Manhattan is looking to hire a Temporary Data Entry Assistant to support their Federal Aid Department. This position will start asap for six months, potentially longer. The hours of this role are Monday + Tuesday 10am-6pm ET, Wednesday to Friday 9am-5pm ET. Note this position is fully remote. The client is seeking a candidate has experience with extreme accuracy of information input and experience with PII, FERPA, or HIPAA. This role pays 17hr -18.50hr.
Responsibilities:
- Daily entry of federal aid data
- Pulling, entering, and validating sensitive student information
- Running daily reports
- Handling SSNs, income details, and PII
- Ensuring FERPA-compliant data practices
- Supporting the financial aid processing team
Qualifications:
- Strong data entry skills
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with FERPA/HIPAA preferred
- Reliability and ability to commit long-term
- Comfortable with repetitive, data-heavy work
