Our client located in Detroit is looking for an experienced Relocation Project Manager. This role serves as the central point of contact for relocation projects, leading execution from planning through completion while ensuring seamless coordination across stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end relocation projects, including office moves, reconfigurations, and small-scale construction initiatives
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Facilities, IT, AV, Security, and external vendors
  • Oversee move execution, including after-hours and weekend activities as needed
  • Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and performance to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Track project milestones, risks, and financials to ensure delivery on time and within budget
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and implementing best practices
  • Maintain accurate data within CAFM systems and support occupancy trackin

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in relocation project management, facilities, MAC, or corporate real estate
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of move management, space planning, and workplace operations
  • Experience with vendor coordination and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAFM systems and work order platforms (e.g., Corrigo)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Project skills
  • Experience with project management tools and the Microsoft Office suite

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders
  • Ability to read architectural drawings and understand furniture/space planning concepts
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work both independently and in a team environment

Additional Details

  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite
  • Travel: Up to 30%
  • Flexibility to support after-hours and weekend project work as needed
