Our client, a national association is seeking an Event Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including unpacking materials and moving boxes
- Support onsite logistics during a large-scale conference and trade expo
- Handle basic operational tasks and provide general event support as needed
- Assist with coordinating materials and ensuring event spaces are organized
- Support team with various ad hoc tasks throughout the event
About You:
- Previous event, hospitality, or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. required
- Professional, reliable, and willing to take direction
- Strong work ethic with a team-oriented mindset
- Flexible and willing to start early or stay late as needed
- Clean, presentable appearance, business casual attire required
About The Position:
- Start Date: June 13
- Duration: June 13-June 17 (temporary assignment)
- Schedule: 9:00am-5:00pm (flexibility required)
- $20/hr
- Fully onsite
