A leading faith-based organization headquartered in Chicago is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to a senior religious leader. This pivotal role requires a mission-driven professional with outstanding judgment, organizational prowess, and a deep sense of discretion. The Executive Assistant will manage a fast-paced and highly visible office, serving as a liaison between leadership and a wide array of internal and external stakeholders.
THE ROLE:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the office, managing communications and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
- Manage a complex executive calendar including internal meetings, special events, and off-site engagements.
- Coordinate logistics, prepare meeting materials, and ensure follow-up on action items.
- Draft, edit, and proofread professional correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain confidentiality in all documentation and interactions.
- Provide occasional support to affiliated teams or staff members as needed.
- Coordinate a wide range of events, from formal ceremonies to internal gatherings.
- Track key project milestones and manage communication logistics.
- Create or edit invitations, notices, and printed materials using graphic tools.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and ensure timely dissemination of key information.
YOU:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, not required
- 7+ years of senior leader-level administrative experience, ideally in a mission-driven or nonprofit environment.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional communication and writing skills, with attention to detail.
- Confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of the role.
- Cultural competency; fluency in Spanish or Polish is a plus.
