Market Data Associate to $80K - Support Research and Data Operations!

Our client, a global investment organization, is seeking a Market Data Associate to support firmwide market data operations and enhance research capabilities across diverse investment teams. In this role, you'll oversee data procurement, manage vendor relationships, and help streamline processes that ensure users receive timely, compliant access to critical information. The ideal candidate brings at least 1 year of experience in market data or project coordination and thrives in fast‑paced, detail‑heavy environments.

• Responsibilities include refining and improving internal procedures as business needs evolve; managing relationships with key third‑party data providers and consultants; coordinating and negotiating contracts while supporting procurement and lifecycle management; communicating compliance requirements; maintaining documentation, reporting, and inventory across internal systems; helping oversee firmwide subscriptions, budgeting, and forecasting; supporting access workflows and best‑practice development; and collaborating with global teams to anticipate information needs and contribute to research solutions.
• The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities; excellent communication skills across diverse audiences; comfort managing multiple projects and shifting priorities; outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills; proficiency with Excel; and 1+ years of experience in a market data or project‑focused role, with an eagerness to learn and innovate.
