Director of Residence to $150K - lead Multi-Property Luxury Living!

Our client, a private household with multiple residences, is seeking a Director of Residence to oversee daily operations and ensure seamless support across three properties. In this highly trusted role, you will manage household staff, coordinate maintenance and vendor relationships, and assist with complex personal and property‑related logistics. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience supporting UHNW families or luxury residential environments and thrives in roles requiring discretion, organization, and high‑touch service.

Position Details:

  • Location: Boston, MA
  • Work Model: Hybrid
  • Degree: Preferred
  • Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations and standards across three residences; managing housekeeping teams and outsourced vendors; coordinating home maintenance, repairs, and occasional renovation efforts; maintaining household inventories, manuals, and property checklists; preparing homes for arrival and ensuring they remain organized, stocked, and guest‑ready; arranging travel and assisting with personal tasks; managing calendars, appointments, and logistics for the principals; supporting events and gatherings including catering, rentals, and onsite execution; overseeing storage systems and conducting audit/rotation of household items; coordinating vehicle maintenance; liaising with contractors, staff, and the family office to ensure smooth communication and continuity.
  • The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of experience supporting private households or luxury estates; proven success managing staff and multi‑property operations; strong organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills; exceptional communication and judgment with absolute discretion; ability to travel and adapt to shifting needs while remaining highly proactive; excellent attention to detail and proficiency with household/task management technology; a polished, positive, service‑oriented demeanor with the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
