Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for a temporary, onsite position with our client in Midtown, Atlanta. This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday, during standard business hours.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.
* File and serve documents electronically in state and federal courts (e-filing).
* Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, and manage attorney schedules.
* Organize, index, and manage physical and electronic case files.
* Assist with trial preparation, including assembling exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
* Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
* Conduct basic legal research and gather case-related information as needed.
* Review and summarize discovery materials and deposition transcripts.
* Manage billing, time entries, and expense reports for assigned attorneys.
