Beacon Hill Legal is seeking an Estate Planning/Probate Paralegal for an onsite, temporary to permanent opportunity with our client in Alpharetta, GA. This is a part-time role (15-20 hours per week) that will gradually ramp up to a full-time role by May 2026.
Essential duties/qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an estate planning and/or probate paralegal (Georgia experience strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of Georgia probate forms (GPCSF), court portals, and filing procedures
- Drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and related client documents
- Proficiency in preparing Georgia probate filings (Cobb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Forsyth, etc.) through Odyssey
- Managing client intake, follow-up, and communications with heirs, personal representatives, and third parties
- Assisting with recording deeds (PT-61, MyDec, transfer-on-death, etc.)
- Preparing asset inventories, spreadsheets, and probate timelines
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
