Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a dedicated Billing Clerk to join a prominent business law firm in Austin. This role involves managing client billing processes and providing support to ensure timely and accurate invoicing within the Real Estate Development and Investments Practice Group. The Billing Clerk will assist attorneys and legal assistants, and collaborate with the accounting department. This opportunity is full time, on-site, and direct hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft pre-bills and review time entries
- Review and process client billing; print and organize monthly client billing statements
- Convert billing statements to invoices, coordinate with billing attorneys, and send invoices to clients
- Assist in researching and resolving client billing inquiries
- Provide light collections assistance in collaboration with the accounting department
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a law firm setting is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities effectively
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a high degree of professionalism
- Willingness to work overtime when required
