Job Title: Staff Accountant (Contract)
Location: Beachwood, OH (On-site)
Pay Rate: $25-$32 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Contract (Full-Time, 40 hours/week)

Overview:
We are currently working with a well-established client in Beachwood, OH, who is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join their team on a contract basis. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is looking to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close processes

• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and internal reports

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities

• Maintain and update fixed asset records and depreciation schedules

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

• Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar)

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team
