Job Title: Bookkeeper (Contract)
Location: West Side of Cleveland, OH (On-site)
Pay Rate: $22-$27 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Contract (Full-Time or Part-Time options available)

Overview:
Our client, a growing organization on the west side of Cleveland, is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys a variety of responsibilities in a small to mid-sized office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations

• Record financial transactions and maintain general ledger accuracy

• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting

• Handle payroll processing and related tax filings (if applicable)

• Support external accountants with documentation during tax season or audits

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a small business or nonprofit setting

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Proficiency with QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) and Microsoft Excel

• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
