Job Title: Contract Accounts Payable Clerk
Location: Akron, Ohio
Job Type: Contract (Full-Time, 40 hours/week)

Pay: $22-$24/hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for a contract role with one of our valued clients in Akron, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of AP processes and will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices and credit memos in a timely and accurate manner

• Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts

• Reconcile AP transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors

• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls

• Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed

• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues

• Maintain accurate and organized records of AP activity

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience required

• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
