Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a premier international law firm on an urgent need for two experienced Litigation Paralegals to support their Labor & Employment group on a long-term temporary basis. This is a high-impact opportunity tied to a major client matter involving dozens of hearings scheduled from August through October, with more likely to follow.

About the Opportunity:

This is a great fit for paralegals with strong litigation experience and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments. While Labor & Employment experience is preferred, it's not required - the firm's top priority is finding skilled litigators who can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize case files, discovery materials, and litigation databases
    * Assist with document review and production, including Bates labeling and tracking
    * Draft, proofread, and edit pleadings, discovery responses, and motions
    * Coordinate eFiling in both state and federal courts
    * Prepare subpoenas and manage service of process
    * Bluebook, cite-check, and prepare tables of contents and authorities
    * Prepare deposition kits, hearing binders, and trial materials
    * Support attorneys throughout hearings, depositions, and trial prep
    * Liaise with internal teams, clients, and vendors as needed
    * Calendar all key case dates and deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate preferred
    * Minimum 5-7 years of litigation paralegal experience
    * Strong knowledge of Texas court procedures and local rules
    * High-volume litigation experience required; L&E experience is a plus
    * Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with tools like Relativity, iManage, or similar
    * Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
    * Strong attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines

Application & Screening Process:

Before being submitted, all candidates must complete the firm's conflict check worksheet (CIW).

The interview process includes:

  1. Virtual interview with talent acquisition
  2. Virtual meeting with hiring and paralegal managers
  3. In-person interview with the case team (in Houston or Dallas)

This is a rare opportunity to support a dynamic legal team on a high-profile, long-term project with real impact. If you're ready to jump in and bring your litigation experience to the table, we want to hear from you today!
