Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal/Legal Assistant with at least 2 years of recent immigration law experience, preferably in family-based immigration and removal defense. Fluency in Spanish is required.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied immigration caseload under attorney supervision
- Prepare USCIS petitions, affidavits, and legal documents accurately
- Communicate with USCIS and other agencies on clients' behalf
- Organize and maintain case files and deadlines
- Support attorneys throughout case preparation
- Keep clients informed on case status and required documents
- Draft correspondence and request necessary records
- Assist clients in preparing for interviews and hearings
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed
