Key Responsibilities:

• Docket Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patent records by adding new filings to Pattsywave, updating docket entries, and monitoring USPTO communications and key deadlines.
• Document Preparation & Filing: Draft, review, and file essential documentation including Application Data Sheets, Information Disclosure Statements, Assignments, and Inventor Declarations.
• Client Communication: Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
• Foreign Filing Coordination: Work closely with international counsel to manage and support foreign filings and ensure all procedural and jurisdictional requirements are met.
• Compliance & Best Practices: Uphold internal and external guidelines, including outside counsel instructions, ensuring a consistent standard of excellence in every client interaction.

Qualifications:

• Solid experience with U.S. and international patent filing and prosecution
• Proficiency with patent docketing and document management tools (e.g., Anaqua, FoundationIP, PatentCenter, ePCT)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication
• Strong team player with the ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Comfortable and effective working remotely with a distributed team
