Job Title: Contract Attorney - eDiscovery (Remote)

Position Type: Contract / Temporary (Full-time and part-time roles available)

Location: Remote - U.S. based

About the Role:

We are seeking skilled Contract Attorneys with experience in eDiscovery document review to join our team on upcoming projects. The ideal candidates will have expertise across all phases of document review, including first-level review, quality control (QC), and privilege review. This is a fully remote position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on high-profile matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform first-level document review for relevance, responsiveness, confidentiality, and privilege.
  • Conduct QC reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with review protocols.
  • Perform privilege review and assist with privilege logs as needed.
  • Apply issue tags and code documents within eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Everlaw, DISCO, Logikcull).
  • Collaborate with team leads and project managers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Follow established protocols and provide feedback on process improvements when appropriate.

Requirements:

  • We are looking for individuals who can dedicate 35-50 hours a week to each matter they are assigned to.
  • Active bar membership and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Experience in eDiscovery document review, with proficiency in industry-standard platforms (e.g., Relativity).
  • Familiarity with discovery protocols, privilege and confidentiality issues, and large-scale document productions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a remote environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with privilege review or QC in complex litigation or investigations.
  • Familiarity with various data types, including emails, messaging apps, and social media content.
  • Multilingual candidates (especially Spanish, German, Mandarin, or French) encouraged to apply.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates commensurate with experience and assignment complexity.
